Leader 101 is required for all Girl Scout leaders and assistant leaders. This learning opportunity is facilitated by your membership staff or service unit volunteer. Orientation to Girl Scouting is appropriate for all adults, from parent to board member, and is required of troop leaders. The course shares the story of how Girl Scouting came to the U.S. and grew to a worldwide sisterhood. You’ll be introduced to the values and beliefs of the organization and the different ways girls can participate. And, you’ll find out how our program builds tomorrow’s leaders. Orientation is available online or by CD.

Leadership Essentials is required for Girl Scout leaders. Join us to Discover the three Keys to Leadership, the new Journeys for girls, and learn what we mean by “purposeful leadership.” Connect with other volunteers to create a network of support, and plan how to Take Action with your girls, whatever grade-level and whatever Pathway they follow.
