Up Join or Start a Troop Join As Individual GS

  • New Girl Scout troops are organized throughout the year. For example, girls can begin after soccer or softball season. It is never too late to start a troop!
     

  • Troops are led by trained adult volunteers.
     

  • Troop meeting times vary according to the needs of the group (i.e. weekly, twice a month, monthly, etc.). Girls and leaders can decide what schedule works best for them!
     

  • Meeting places vary according to the community. The council staff and other Girl Scout volunteers are happy to help new troops find suitable meeting places.
