Family Partnership:
A Division of the Friends of Girl Scouting Annual Fund
Family Partnership is one component of the Annual Fund in which families of Girl Scouts contribute financial support to our council. Gifts or pledges may be made at any time of year and are tax deductible as allowed by law. Gifts may be made in memory or honor of someone special. Acknowledgments are mailed from the council in recognition of these gifts. Parents will receive information about the Family Partnership campaign when they register their daughter each troop year.
Leader Appreciation Day is a great time to thank your daughter's leader by making a contribution in her/his honor to the Family Partnership appeal. Leader Appreciation Day is observed each April. You may request a certificate to present to your troop leader, when a gift is made in her honor.
Leave a Legacy for the Girls in your Community…
The Endowment Fund:
In 1991, the Tarheel Triad Board of Directors established the endowment fund with the purpose of providing needed income for Girl Scout program. Gifts made to the endowment fund provide a permanent stream of income for the Council. Annual contributions, bequests, and deferred gifts may be given to the endowment.
