

Cookie Cutter Club event 2007: Girls Just Want to Have
FUN!
The Tarheel Triad Council welcomed new and returning members to the Cookie
Cutter Club on June 2, 2007 at the Girls Just Want to Have FUN! CCC event. Of
our 125 CCC members, 69 members were in attendance accompanied by their guests.
Members and guests enjoyed cupcakes, fun foam tiara crafts, nail art, photo
frames and were recognized for their amazing achievements of selling 500 or more
boxes in the Join the Fun 2006-2007 Cookie Program.
The CCC members were introduced to our new ABC
Girl Scout Cookie in 2008…the Cinna-Spins (a 5pkg – 100 Calorie Pack cookie) as
well as learned about the 2007-2008 Cookie Program theme…Ready. Set. GO! The CCC
members were also given new materials for the Ready. Set. GO! Program.

The Cookie Cutter Club members also chose the
2007-2008 Ready. Set. GO! recognitions by placing votes on the items they felt
girls of the Tarheel Triad Council would like to earn in our cookie program. You
can see these exciting recognitions in the 2007-2008 Cookie Materials and our
website coming soon!
How can you be a Cookie Cutter Club member in 2008?
All girls, regardless of troop option chosen,
that sell 500 boxes or more of cookies in a single year’s program will receive
an invitation to join the Cookie Cutter Club in the summer of 2008! Cookie
Cutter Club membership is good for one year (summer to summer) and is renewable
by once again achieving the 500+ boxes sold in subsequent cookie programs.
Cookie Cutter Club members are also Grant Representatives for the “CCC
foundation”. The “CCC foundation” will award money raised during the Cookie
Program Sale to fund special Girl Scout activities in the Tarheel Triad Council,
Inc.
The Cookie Cutter Club members also receive the following incentives: Membership
on the “CCC foundation”. Girls participating in the foundation will have the
opportunity to meet annually to review proposals and to make decisions about how
the “CCC foundation” money will be awarded in the Tarheel Triad Council, Inc. -
Annual meetings to make decisions on cookie recognition choices. - A “CCC” patch
and certificate of yearly membership as well as a yearly club picture to be
displayed in the Learning Center on the Girl Scout Campus.
Grants will consist of funds from the Girl
Scout cookie program in an amount of $0.005 per box sold which is designated by
the Council Boards of Directors. Grants will support Girl Scout programs that
reach a broad base of Tarheel Triad Council membership. Examples of successful
grants from 2006-2007 included support of the Tarheel Triad’s Gold Award
Scholarship program, scholarships for outreach program camping activities,
support for “Adopt A Horse” program at KPC, support of new ground training
program at Keyauwee as well as support of the Thin Mint Sprint 5K Run/Walk on
September 29, 2007 among other great programs that supports Girl Scouting in the
Tarheel Triad Council! We saw girls of the CCC Foundation making the difference
to provide programming and support to girls across our council! We hope you will
set your goal to be a member of the Cookie Cutter Club in 2008!

2007-2008
The members of the Cookie
Cutter Club from the Join the Fun 2007 Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program in the
Tarheel Triad Council hold a very important and special foundation in their
honor, the CCC Foundation. The CCC Foundation with authorization from the Girl
Scouts, Tarheel Triad Council’s Board of Directors, elected to take $0.005 for
every box sold in the Tarheel Triad Council in the 2006-2007 Cookie Program.
This year the CCC Foundation will have approximately $4,500 to award.
Requirements for the Grant process include the following:
The Project/Program must benefit a wide variety girl membership of the Girl
Scouts, Tarheel Triad Council, Inc. The Project/Program must occur with in
1-year of the awarded CCC Foundation Grant.
CCC grant applications should not exceed 50% of the total estimated cost of
program /project. CCC grant applications should not exceed a requested amount of
$1,000.
The 2007-2008 CCC Foundation Grant Application must be filled out completely and
received by the GSTTC Cookie Program Director/CCC Advisor no later than January
31, 2008.
The Cookie Cutter Club members will review all CCC Foundation Grant Applications
and will award grants in amount they find appropriate. CCC Foundation Grant
applicants will be notified in April of 2008 of the Cookie Cutter Club grant
foundation decisions.

Cookie Cutter Club – 2005 Membership
The Make Forever Memories 2005 Girl Scout Cookie Program was a great success for
all the girls that participated this year! Thank you all for another terrific
job!
Please
join me in congratulating 96 extraordinary girls who will be joining
the 2005 Cookie Cutter Club. These Girl Scouts reached remarkable goals this
year of 500 or more boxes sold. The Cookie Cutter Club’s first meeting was held
on June 18, 2005, at the Learning Center on the Girl Scout Campus in Colfax, NC.
At this meeting the members voted on the recognitions for Option B of the
2005-2006 Explore Cookie Program, taste tested the two new cookies that will be
joining our 2006 Explore Cookie Program (Cartwheels and Thanks-a-Lot), and spoke
about the CCC Foundation grant process.

The Cookie Cutter Club will oversee and shape the
CCC Foundation. The CCC Foundation raised nearly $3,500 to be granted for
programs/projects benefiting the Girl Scouts of the Tarheel Triad Council, Inc.
Cookie Cutter Club – 2004
Membership
On May 14, 2005 the first Cookie Cutter Club membership came to an end at our
end of year celebration. The CCC Foundation composed of the Cookie Cutter Club
membership were able to award fantastic opportunities across the Tarheel Triad
Council in 2005 in the form of the Cookie Cutter Club Grant. Some examples of
successful grants from 2005 included support of the Tarheel Triad’s Gold Award
Scholarship program, purchase two new paddle boats for Keyauwee Program Center,
Basketball goals for the Learning Center, supplies for Service Unit Camporees in
Service Unit 22 and 140, support of Today, Great Things are Happening in Girl
Scouts public announcements campaign, just to name a few. We saw girls of the CCC
Foundation making the difference to provide programming and support to girls
