Day Camp Leadership
Opportunities
For Girl Scouts Grades 7 & Up
|
 |
Program Aide & Junior Assistant Leadership Programs
All day camps offer an opportunity for a limited number of
registered Girl Scouts who meet the prerequisite requirements to
participate in Program Aide and Junior Assistant Leadership
programs. Program Aides learn camp skills and leadership skills in
their own unit. They apply this knowledge at camp with the younger
groups as they work toward the Program Aide recognition. Junior
Assistant Leaders will be assigned to the younger girls’ units to
earn leadership hours as they work with those girls.
