How to Get Information Published in the Newsletter

G.I.R.L.S. is the quarterly council publication for Tarheel Triad news, event notices, photos and recognitions important to our troops and to all of our members.

Troops, groups, individual Girl Scouts, and volunteers who have information to publish in G.I.R.L.S. may send it in an email to lburnette@tarheeltriad.org.

Deadlines are Jan. 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. Information must be in our council office in Colfax by that specific date. If you send articles by email, you may either include them in the body of the email or attach them as Microsoft Word documents.

Send photos as jpeg image attachments – not as images imbedded in the document. Be certain that the resolution is high enough for print, at least at 300 dpi. If you mail images, send them on photo-quality paper. We do not accept color photocopies. We reserve the right not to run articles or photographs because of quality of photos or because of space limitations. For more information, Call Lynn Burnette at 336-369-7427.
